Private Hell

"Pray Tell, Private Hell" is a collecion of darkly humorous, historically based poems as written by a Civil War soldier soon to be released by my friend Steve Bartel. He trusted me with putting together the final image for the cover. Here you see the rough soldier photo (no hat) that I started with and the final version, which for some reason the frame appears very blue and washed out--click on it to see the more accurate image.

A Sad Update: Steve tragically passed away on January 6th, 2008. His book, "Pray Tell, Praivate Hell" was published in October and will hopefully be available via Amazon soon so everybody can discover a small glimpse of his creative genius.
